Extending the Beat Ceiling.

Greetings. I've decided to revive the life into this blog. It has been quite some time, but the time itself, has come. With a recent and fully intended abandonment on social media, I felt something was lacking. The scattered emails to friends, with links to youtube videos and songs that I had come across, seemed not enough. I needed a central hub, left to the reader's discretion, where I could share items of interest, without the concern of followers or wall spam. Anyhow, enough with the rambling. Here are a few things I currently "like". But not in that way, Mr. Zuckerberg..

My good friend Luis from Balanced Records sent this over.

I first found out about this small series from another friend, Ian voulesrandom, when he sent me the first installment based from Bristol, UK. It caught me at the same time as my infatuation with Julio Bashmore, which made the feeling grow.

Caught in a revolving door of musical interests, I can say my current favorites are in these two genres. Detroit techno, and UK funky/Garage. I blame it fully on the Benji B show on BBC radio 1. It's just too good. If I could leave with one piece of advice, I would recommend listening to his show every Thursday. Amazing.
